As rehabilitation nears its final stage, the Imo state Governor, Hope Uzodimma has embarked on an inspection of some ongoing projects in the state.
He visited the Imo state Water and Sewerage Corporation and its administrative quarters (located at Egbu and Okigwe Roads respectively), to assess the level of progress made so far.
Taking a tour of the facilities, he carefully checked the newly installed pumping machines, the automatic chemical dosing systems as well as the newly constructed staff quarters.
Addressing pressmen, the Governor who also inspected the reconstruction of the Imo State House of Assembly Complex originally built by Dee Sam Mbakwe of blessed memory, noted that his administration had deemed it necessary to quickly rehabilitate the Assembly complex to standard to enable the members and staff of the Imo State House of Assembly return to a more conducive environment for parliamentary activities.
He expressed confidence in the expertise of Koran-DiResta Construction Company of Manhattan, which delivered the Nigeria House in New York, USA, and is currently undertaking the reconstruction of the Imo State House of Assembly. He said the company would deliver to Ndi Imo a world-class and befitting House of Assembly Complex projected to be ready by the end of February 2022.
