TRUMP SLAPS 25% TARIFF ON INDIA FOR BUYING RUSSIAN OIL

U.S. President Donald Trump has signed an order imposing an additional 25% tariff on Indian goods due to India’s ongoing purchase of Russian oil, which supports Moscow’s war in Ukraine.
The tariff, effective in three weeks, adds to a separate 25% tariff starting Today. Meanwhile Exemptions apply to goods like pharmaceuticals and those under sector-specific duties, such as steel and aluminum.
