Ify Onyegbule is a strategic Media and Communications expert, a trained Investigative Journalist at the RNTC, a consummate Broadcaster, a Social critic, Publisher, Author and Activist on Women issues. Her application of Communication insight brings to bear, a Niche and Brand that has defined her in the Journalism world with experience spanning 22 years across different Radio and TV stations in Nigeria.
Ms. Onyegbule was former Station Manager at Rockcity FM, Abeokuta, South West Nigeria, General Manager at Wave FM, Port Harcourt (South-South) and briefly as Ag. General Manager of Reach FM, Owerri, South East, Nigeria.
As a Media Trainer, Ms. Onyegbule has consulted for various Radio and TV stations, training personnel in corporate organization and On-Air Personalities.
She has taken her Medialogue Series across different states in Nigeria, added to many other trainings organized for media persons and intending media persons in Lagos and its environs.
Her book, How Did We Get Here? A manual for young media persons, was launched online on May 27, 2020. It is an Experiential/Instructional book about the 25 mistakes that every Radio and TV presenter must avoid as they set out to build a career in the Media.
Ify Onyegbule also contributes to the website www.ddailyreport.ng an online platform she set up with a senior colleague, Mr Charles Kalu as a portal for authentic news.
She devotes her spare time to discussions and analysis on Radio and Television stations, talking with young people in higher institutions, giving speeches, Compering Corporate events, attending conferences and seminars aimed at impacting lives.
Ify loves spending time also with abandoned children at various orphanages and Widows, through her Yearly Widows Outreach and other programmes organized by her NGO, WASEI (Women Awareness For Sustainable Empowerment Initiative).
